Principals

I am so excited to lead Achieve Academy this year. We look forward to helping every student move closer to their goal of graduation.

I began my educational career in 1993 as a history teacher and girls' athletic coordinator at Sam Houston Middle School in Garland, Texas. After 8 years, I went to Naaman Forest High School as an Assistant Principal. I was there for 11 years before moving to Garland High School for a year. In 2013, I moved to Frisco High School as the Associate Principal. I did that for 2 years before coming home to Wylie. Prior to coming to Achieve, I was at Wylie East as an Assistant Principal and Associate Principal. I am excited and honored to work at Achieve Academy this year and look forward to a wonderful school year.

I attended the University of North Texas, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and my Master of Education degrees in 1993. I completed my Principal Certification in 2001 from Texas A&M Commerce.

I have been married to my husband Patrick since 1995. We have three sons. Jordan is a graduate of SMU, where he was captain of the football team for 2 years. He is the Assistant Head football coach at Wylie East where he coaches the secondary. Jared is a graduate of New Mexico State University, where he was captain of the NMSU football team. He is the Varsity receivers coach and track coach at Wylie East. Joseph is a PE Aide at Watkins Elementary while working on his teaching certification. in my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching sports, and playing with my grandchildren.
